DBMAT Intervener Scholarships Available!
Are you someone who is interested in being a credentialed intervener?
Do you know someone who needs the support to make their dream of being an intervener a reality?
If so, the Deaf-Blind Multihandicapped Association of Texas family organization has scholarships available!
Recipients of this scholarship will be able to apply to either of the two courses available online:
- Utah State University (https://www.usu.edu/online/degrees/certificate/deafblind-intervener- training-certificate/) or
- University of Michigan (dbcentral.org).
Each of these deafblind training programs include multiple courses for an equivalent of 12 college credit hours. Upon successful completion you would be eligible to apply to be a credentialed Intervener with the National Resource Center for Paraeducators (NRCPara).
