Guidelines for Using Material from the Texas Deafblind Project Site

We are glad that you find our material useful and we hope that you will share it with others. Our goal is to support teachers, families, and others who are working to promote quality educational practices for children who are deafblind including those who have additional disabilities. We respectfully ask that you follow some basic guidelines. Please note that we do NOT grant permission to use anything on this site for profit-making purposes.

Printing, Emailing, and Sharing Materials on Social Media

Please do feel free print and share activities, resources, and other items that you find useful! There are icons on many pages that it make it easy for you to do this. We just ask that it be clearly marked where the material comes from and who the author is. If the author is not specified, then please note that content was developed by Texas Deafblind Project Staff.

Posting on the Web

  1. Please request permission first by contacting txdeafblindproject@tsbvi.edu
  2. Please clearly credit the author and the website (Texas Deafblind Project) as well as the URL (www.txdeafblindproject.org). If the author is not specified, please credit Texas Deafblind Project Staff.
  3. Please summarize the article in your own words and add a link to the original article, rather than copying and pasting the original article in its entirety.
  4. If you are interested in posting a full article, please contact us to discuss the options. We love to be invited to write guest posts on other websites or blogs!

Reprinting in Newsletters or Other Publications

  1. Please request permission first by contacting txdeafblindproject@tsbvi.edu.

  3. If your publication appears online, including in .pdf format, please follow the guidelines above for posting on the web.

Photographs

  1. Photographs may not be copied and shared, unless they appear as part of a post or article.
  2. If they are part of a specific post or article, they may be copied for print handouts needed for educational purposes only in limited quantities. Images may not be copied for use on another website.
