About

Join us at the Texas Symposium on Deafblind Education, a welcoming and empowering gathering for everyone who supports children and youth who are deafblind. Held biennially in odd-numbered years and hosted by TSBVI Outreach and the Texas Deafblind Projectlink opens in a new window, this symposium brings together family members, new and seasoned professionals, students, and friends of the community in a dynamic learning space.

Whether you want to discover new research, explore hands-on strategies, or learn from leaders in deafblind education, you’ll find meaningful opportunities to connect theory to practice. More than just a conference, the Texas Symposium on Deafblind Education is an opportunity to strengthen our community, exchange ideas, and build lasting connections with families and colleagues from across Texas and beyond.

To support ongoing professional growth, participants can earn continuing education credits (ACVREP and SBEC) while staying current on best practices.
